Letters can also be faxed to 619-260-5081 or mailed to: Letters Editor, The San Diego Union-Tribune, PO Box 120191, San Diego, CA 92112-0191
Tips for writing letters to the editor:
Include the senders name, address and daytime phone number. Letters sent by mail or fax should include the information above, plus the sender's signature.
Short letters have a better chance of getting published than long ones. Most editors will verify that you have given permission, by phone, prior to their deadline. This is to ensure that your name has not been attached to a letter you did not write.
It is the San Diego Union Tribune's policy to publish no more than one letter from the same author within 30 days.
